Defense Human Resources Activity (DHRA) Industry Outreach Symposium

Background
The Defense Human Resources Activity (DHRA) is hosting a hybrid THREE-PART Industry Outreach Symposium aimed at providing updates on DHRA programs and upcoming acquisitions. This event is designed to engage small business vendors and industry partners, offering insights into DHRA's mission and the services it provides to defense civilians, service members, their families, reservists, and veterans.

The symposium is held in conjunction with the Virginia APEX Accelerator and there is no charge for attendance.

Work Details
The symposium consists of three parts:
1. **Part 1 (Virtual)** - November 18, 2024, from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM EST. This session includes an overview of DHRA, updates from various centers such as the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) and the Defense Personnel Data Center (DPAC), and a Q&A session following each brief.

2. **Part 2 (Virtual)** - November 19, 2024, from 8:30 AM to Noon EST. This session features updates from additional DHRA centers including the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI) and the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office (SAPRO), along with a focus on maximizing engagement for the December matchmaking event.

3. **Part 3 (On Site)** - December 3, 2024, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM EST at GMU Van Metre Hall in Arlington, VA. This matchmaking event is limited to small businesses and includes informal networking followed by walk-up matchmaking sessions with DHRA Centers and large prime contractors.

Place of Performance
The virtual sessions will be conducted online while the on-site session will take place at GMU Van Metre Hall, Arlington, VA.
