DCF RFQ 2324 025 Modernizing Florida's CCWIS-Compatible Case Management System

ID: RFQ1646392S • Alt ID: DCF RFQ 2324 025 • Type: Solicitation

Description

The Department of Children and Families (Department), Office of Information Technology Services (OITS) and Office of Child and Family Well-Being (OCFW), is issuing this solicitation to interested parties for the purpose of modernizing the Case Management and Licensure and Placement modular functionality of its child welfare legacy system in the form of iteratively developing modular Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS) functionality that is currently being developed with the goal to totally replace the legacy system by 2027. The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) announced the CCWIS final rule 45 CFR 1355.50-57, which replaces the previous Statewide and Tribal Automated Child Welfare Information System (S/TACWIS) regulations. CCWIS provides Florida with the opportunity to take advantage of leading technology capabilities and implement a modular best-of-breed solution specifically designed to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and outcomes of child welfare program practices. This will provide the flexibility to tailor technology needs more closely to program requirements. Florida will ultimately deliver a CCWIS-compliant solution that meets the regulations required to receive maximum federal funding.
