Dawson Co. Glendive MT Asphalt Crack Sealing

Background
The Western Area Power Administration has issued a solicitation for Asphalt Crack Sealing at the Dawson County Glendive Substation. The solicitation is 100% small business set-aside, and the North American Industrial Code is 238990 with a business size standard of $19.0M.

Work Details
The work involves preparing, cleaning, and sealing all cracks in the bituminous pavement greater than or equal to 1/8 inch in width or as recommended by the sealing manufacturer. Additionally, cracks and joints with an average width greater than ¾ inch must be thoroughly cleaned for the entire depth, and all cracks and joints must be cleaned with compressed air to remove all dust, dirt, and debris prior to sealing.
Work will be performed during normal working hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday-Thursday unless other work schedules are pre-authorized by the WAPA onsite representative. The work site is within or adjacent to a high voltage electrical substation that will be energized during the duration of the performance of this contract. The successful contractor is required to perform the maintenance tasks as listed, including all labor, equipment, material, and supervision to complete the job according to the statement of work.

Period of Performance
The Contractor shall begin performance within 0 calendar days and complete it within x calendar days after receiving award notice to proceed. The performance period is x mandatory negotiable.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Dawson County Glendive Substation located at 112 Highway 200 South Glendive MT 59330.
