VISN 16 Real Time Location System Asset Tracking Sustainment Services   2

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to sustain the Real Time Location System (RTLS) Asset Tracking (AT) capability for the Veterans Integrated Services Network (VISN) 16.
The goal of this contract is to maintain and enhance the existing RTLS technology, which utilizes various signaling and wireless communication methods to track tagged assets within VA Medical Centers.
This system aims to improve inventory management, reduce theft, and enhance workflow by providing real-time location data for equipment and personnel.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide the following services:
1. Project Management: Includes a Contractor Project Management Plan due 30 days after the start of the contract, monthly progress reports, and a kickoff meeting presentation.
2. Battery Management: Provide battery management services including reports due after each onsite visit.
3. CenTrak Maintenance Support: Ensure ongoing maintenance support for CenTrak systems.
4. Infor LBI Maintenance Support: Provide maintenance support for Infor LBI systems.
5. RTLS Server Support: Offer server support for RTLS operations.
6. Software Updates and Upgrades: Regular updates and upgrades to RTLS software, including installation of software licenses and corrective maintenance.
7. Wi-Fi Connectivity: Re-establish Juniper/Mist Wi-Fi connectivity at all sites except Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center during the base period, with sustainment services in option years.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period of performance of 12 months from the date of award, with four optional 12-month periods available if exercised.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various VA facilities within VISN 16, including locations in Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Arkansas, and Florida.
