Background
The Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) intends to issue a firm-fixed price contract on behalf of the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) for the renewal of the Environment and Energy News subscription for a base period with four option periods. The Department of the Interior’s (DOI), Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM), is the federal agency responsible for managing the exploration and development of the nation’s offshore energy resources. The bureau seeks to balance economic development, energy independence, and environmental protection through responsible management of offshore conventional and renewable energy development based on the best available science.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide subscription services for up-to-date, daily information on energy and environmental issues up to 80 select BOEM/OREP employees at designated offices within BOEM. This includes information concerning climate change policy, research, and proposed legislation.

Period of Performance
Period of Performance: The contract will be performed from May 1, 2022, through April 30, 2023 for the base period. There are also four option periods: May 1, 2023, through April 30, 2024; May 1, 2024, through April 30, 2025; May 1, 2025, through April 30, 2026; May 1, 2026, through April 30, 2027.

Place of Performance
Place of Performance: The services will be performed at designated offices within BOEM.
