Background
The solicitation is for custodial, grounds maintenance, and related services for the federal building (CA0093Z) located at 50 United Nations Plaza, San Francisco, CA 94102. The contract consists of two major functional areas: Standard and Above Standard services. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, and equipment to plan, schedule, coordinate and assure effective performance of custodial and related services.

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish all personnel, labor, equipment, materials, tools, supplies, supervision, management, training/certifications, and services necessary to perform the work efforts described in the contract. This includes maximizing the use of goods produced in the United States; ensuring employees are properly trained and licensed; making management and operational decisions to meet quality performance standards; using innovation and technology to develop efficient cleaning services; implementing an effective Quality Control Plan (QCP); implementing an effective service call system; reducing environmental impacts by using environmentally sound practices; providing training/certifications for employees that stress stewardship and effective communication in cleaning practices.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a twelve-month period commencing on the day specified in the Notice to Proceed. The contract also includes a unilateral option for the government to extend the term for four consecutive additional periods of one year each.

The contract will be performed at 50 United Nations Plaza (CA0093ZZ) in San Francisco, CA 94102. Cleaning shall take place between specific hours as detailed in the solicitation.
