Description

The requirement is to identify annual training for the Diversity and Inclusion Training Representatives to support their development and growth as inclusive leaders in alignment with the NCIS ethos for People First, Mission Always, the Director's Planning Guidance and the NCIS DEIA Strategy. The Contractor shall provide a training workshop tailored to the NCIS DivReps program. The training will be provided exclusively to NCIS for 4-Hour via a virtual (online) platform and include the participation of a maximum 25 participants.

Background
The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) is an elite federal law enforcement agency within the Department of the Navy responsible for preventing terrorism, protecting secrets, and investigating felony crime for the Navy and Marine Corps. The NCIS Diversity and Inclusion Program Office (DIPO) is focused on creating an organizational culture that welcomes diversity of skills, thoughts, and experiences to improve agency readiness and resiliency. The NCIS Diversity and Inclusion Representatives (DivReps) serve as an extension of the DIPO to field and Headquarters elements by explaining what DEI means in the NCIS context and facilitating voluntary guided discussions about DEI.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide a one-time training workshop for the NCIS Diversity and Inclusion Representatives (DivRep). The training will focus on Cultural Intelligence (CQ), which is essential for relating and working effectively with people from different cultures. The training will be provided exclusively to NCIS for 4 hours via a virtual (online) platform, with a maximum of 25 participants. The training objectives include understanding CQ, improving intercultural performance, increasing self-awareness of cultural impact, developing skills to lead with cultural intelligence, and effectively managing across cultures.

Period of Performance
The training and consultation will occur during FY23. Specific dates for the period of performance will be agreed upon at a later date.

Place of Performance
The training will be delivered through a facilitated online real-time method using a webinar computer application. The session length will be 4 hours total in one day, including a 5-10 minute break every 45-60 minutes.
