CSC-23604 Maintenance and Repair of Fire Sprinkler System. Building 21 of the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC)

Background
The solicitation is for the maintenance and repair of up to 350 sprinkler heads in Building 21 of the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC). The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose quote is determined to be the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The contractor will be responsible for providing inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair services for a 7-story wet sprinkler system. The contractor shall follow all applicable standard industry practices including Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).

Work Details
The contractor shall provide maintenance and repair services to ensure the building life safety system deficiencies are corrected and placing the system back in service. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, upgrading, and extending the specified systems to maintain proper system operation. The contractor shall obtain all known drawings and submittals, operation and maintenance manuals, service manuals, service guides, and other applicable documents from the manufacturer of each piece of equipment to be serviced and maintained.

The contractor shall provide a Repair Plan establishing the scope of work to be conducted on the fire sprinkler systems located at Building 21. The contractor shall provide all materials, tools, and labor to repair/replace a maximum of 350 sprinkler drops located in Building 21.

Period of Performance
The period for acceptance of offers is 90 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers unless another time period is specified in an addendum to the solicitation.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Building 21, DSCC Columbus.
