Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a contractor to replace the roof on the picnic shelter in the Cross Lake Recreation Area located in Crosslake, MN. The work must conform to local, county, and state laws and codes. The contractor is encouraged to visit the site prior to submitting a quote.

Work Details
The contractor is responsible for removing and disposing of the existing asphalt shingles, nails, and tar paper from the picnic shelter roof. They must install a layer of ice and water shield over the entire roof decking before installing a green, minimum 28 gauge, commercial grade steel roof according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. All trim, drip edge, rake, fascia, and ridge cap shall be of the same green color, gauge, and style as the steel roof. The work should be completed by October 31st, 2021.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is until October 31st, 2021.

Place of Performance
The project will take place at Shelter #2 located between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Cross Lake Office and the Pine River Dam in Crosslake, MN.
