Background
The purpose of this new acquisition is for building construction and renovation services for the Craney Island Project Office in Portsmouth, Virginia. The required services include demolition of an existing storage shed and construction of a new office in its place, renovations to the existing administration office building, repaving of the existing parking lot, and optional work to furnish the buildings. The storage shed to be demolished is a 1,200 square foot steel framed, slab on grade facility. The office space replacing the storage shed will consist of an open office area, conference room, telecom room, and unisex restrooms. The existing administration building is a 4,400 square foot concrete block facility consisting partly of office space and garage space.

Work Details
All work associated with construction of the new Operations building and improvements to the existing Administration building, including site mobilization and demobilization, installation of erosion control features, landscaping and final grading, and all associated components.
Additionally, all work associated with milling and repaving the existing asphalt parking lot, installation of new sidewalk, and all associated components.
Furthermore, all work associated with demolition of the existing storage shed.
