Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia (NSWCPD) intends to procure copper and fiber optic cable repair services. The NCDS is a mission-critical system installed on CVN 68 Class and LHD 1 Class platforms, providing navigation data and situational awareness. The contract is for cable repairs or replacements identified during system operational verification tests (SOVTs) and sea trials.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide cable repair services including prefabrication/fabrication, shipboard repair, integrated logistics support, and quality assurance services. They must also coordinate with the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) for review of the cable repairs, provide necessary equipment and personnel, and assign a Team Leader for coordination. All repaired cables must be tested and a test status matrix provided to the TPOC. The contractor is responsible for all test requirements unless otherwise specified.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is within 30 days after the award date to 1 year from the start of the award.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the 32nd St. Naval Base in San Diego, CA.
