Background
The Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) Parris Island is issuing this solicitation for Cooling Tower and Chiller Maintenance and Eddy Current Testing Services. The mission of the FEAD MCRD Parris Island Group is to provide base and community support for the East Coast Marine training mission. This contract aims to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of cooling towers and chillers at the facility.

Work Details
The contractor will provide non-personal services including:

1. Preventive maintenance on cooling towers, including cleaning, flushing evaporator plate heat exchangers, and mechanical rodding of condenser tubes.

2. Eddy current testing of chiller tubes during the base year only.

3. Annual services to clean and flush evaporator plate heat exchangers and mechanically rod condenser tubes on both air-cooled and water-cooled chillers.

4. Reporting of discrepancies found during maintenance activities. Specific tasks include:
- Cleaning spray nozzles, distribution header tubes, cooling tower fill, strainer, and sediment from tower basins.
- Mechanical rodding for air-cooled and water-cooled condenser tubes.
- Conducting Eddy current testing on condenser and evaporator tubes with a report of findings.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence 30 days after award and will last for a base period of one year, with options to extend for up to four additional years, totaling a maximum of 60 months.

The work will be performed at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina.
