Containerized Showers Lease to Own

Background
The U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE) at Joint Base San Antonio Fort Sam Houston is seeking to lease new turnkey containerized showers with an option to purchase.
This initiative aims to provide field sanitation facilities for trainees during training periods at the Basic Officer Leaders Course (BOLC) Training Facility located on Camp Bullis.
The contract will cover a base year starting in FY25, with four additional one-year options extending through December 2029.

Work Details
The contractor will provide:
- Four (4) containerized shower units, configured to have a total of 18 individual shower stalls, either as two containers with nine heads each or three containers with six heads each, ensuring separate facilities for males and females.
- Maintenance services for the showers, including cleaning and restroom supplies, potable water delivery, and wastewater disposal.
- Each shower unit must conform to ISO Standard Container sizing (8’ x 8’6” x 20’) and include:
- Hot and cold water supply
- Integral changing areas
- Internal exhaust systems
- Anti-scald valves
- HVAC systems
- Interior lighting
- Sinks and mirrors
- Propane-fired water heaters
- Wastewater holding tanks with a capacity of at least 3500 gallons, leak-proof design, and necessary plumbing.
- A potable water supply system with pressure pumps and backflow preventers.
- Compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local codes as well as National Fire Protection Codes (NFPA).

Period of Performance
Base year starts on December 25, 2024, through December 24, 2025, with four one-year options extending through December 24, 2029.

Place of Performance
Camp Bullis training site located in Fort Sam Houston, TX.
