Background: This construction project is for the replacement of the existing Nurse Call System at Building 331 and 360 at the Veterans Affairs Menlo Park Healthcare System (VAPAHCS) in Menlo Park, California. The project is being undertaken by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) as part of their mission to provide healthcare services to veterans. The goal of the contract is to improve the nurse call system and ensure its proper functioning.

Details: The tasks/services to be completed under this contract include:
- Removing existing nurse call devices, conduit, nurse call cabling, and nurse call panels
- Installing new nurse call devices, conduit, nurse call cabling, and nurse call panels
- Removing and reinstalling existing ceiling.

The contractor must also coordinate with users to minimize downtime for utilities and operational program spaces during construction. Interim life safety measures and infection control measures must be followed. The contractor must comply with all applicable federal and local laws, standards, and code requirements.

Period of Performance: The period of performance for this project is 360 calendar days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance: The contract will be performed at Building 331 and 360 located at 795 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California, 94025.
