Construction Equipment Rental for 823 RHS Construct New Roads C-64 Range   2

Background
The Department of the Air Force, specifically the Air Force Test Center (AFTC) at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, is seeking to rent construction equipment to support the 823rd Red Horse Squadron (RHS) in constructing new roads at the C-64 Range.

The goal of this contract is to provide necessary heavy equipment for road paving operations, ensuring that all equipment meets specified safety and operational standards.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide the following equipment for a period of 121 days:
1. Dozer D5 with a 6-way finishing blade (1 unit)
2. Vibratory Roller - Tandem 55” (2 units)
3. Water Truck with a capacity of 1500 – 4000 gallons (1 unit)
4. Front End Wheel Loader with a 4 cubic yard bucket (1 unit)
5. Passenger Van capable of transporting 15 personnel (1 unit)

All equipment must be fully operational, clean, and free from damage or defects. The contractor must ensure that all vehicles are less than five years old and meet minimum safety standards including parking brakes, horns, mirrors, emergency flashers, seat belts, and current inspection certificates from certified mechanics.

Scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repairs are also required as part of the service agreement. The contractor must provide timely delivery and collection of equipment to the designated C-64 site at Eglin AFB, coordinate with government representatives for scheduling, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from March 1 through June 30, 2025.
