Description

The following Requirement is being solicited as a Small Business Set Aside to certified Small Businesses that are located only within the State of Texas.
Must have an active SAM Entity Registration reflecting a Small Business Certification under NAICS 332312 Fabricated Structural Metal Manufacturing.
This requirement will be awarded as a Fixed Price Award, all invoices must be submitted to the Government in the Invoice Procssing Platform.

Background
The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), Technical Operations Group, Air Surveillance Branch (ASB) requires installation of a replacement hangar door in a leased hangar facility at Conroe-North Houston Regional Airport (KCXO) 10006 Military Dr, Conroe, TX, 77303. The contract is for the complete engineering, materials, fabrication & installation of the hangar door and integration of the door safety, mechanical and electrical systems into the building’s current structure and systems.

Work Details
Tasks include removing and disposing of old doors, installing a new electrically operated vertical opening, horizontally folding, bifold style hangar door to include framing/trim matching existing building. The door must comply with all current safety standards and codes, incorporate current technology safety systems and redundancies to prevent injuries or property damage that may result from inadvertent closure or door failure at height. It must also incorporate a backup system allowing full operation during power failure, be fully insulated and sealed against weather, use a fast quiet system using high strength straps or synthetic material over steel cables, and have door control switches mounted near the existing hangar light switches between the hangar aircraft door opening and the existing man door.
