Background
The New England District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, equipment, transportation, and materials to complete public waterline connection including trenching and installation of approximately 56 feet of service pipe. The period of performance is 120 days and will begin on the day of contract award. The work will be performed in Thomaston, CT at Northfield Brook Lake.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials to complete public waterline connection including trenching and installation of approximately 56 feet of service pipe. Contractor shall pressure test, flush, and if necessary, replace or adjust any malfunctioning parts. The replacement parts and labor shall be included in an optional task that will be exercised as necessary after evaluation of Contractor’s parts and labor pricing.
Work shall include job planning, programming, scheduling, administration, inspection, personnel, equipment, materials, supplies, supervision, and quality control necessary to complete the task herein.
Safety requirements include compliance with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Safety and Health Requirements Manual (EM 385-1-1), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), federal, state, and local safety and health requirements.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is 120 days from the day of contract award.
