Combat Swimmer Assault Vest (CSAV)   2

The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) has a requirement for the Aqua Lung Combat Swimmer Assault Vest (CSAV). The Aqua Lung CSAV system is a commercially available multi-purpose buoyancy compensator, which doubles as a life preserver and is able to meet all operational requirements for Dry Deck Shelter (DDS), MK-16 Underwater Breathing Apparatus (UBA) diving. This requirement includes the purchase of new systems, parts for repair, as well as the repair/refurbishment of existing systems.

This acquisition will utilize the procedures at FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Justification and Approval will be posted under this synopsis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 339999, and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to award a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, issuing Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Delivery Orders to Aqua Lung, doing business as U.S. Divers Co. Inc. (CAGE 94120). The estimated minimum contract value is $30,000 and the estimated maximum contract value is $650,000.
