Combat Ready Staging Program Warehouse Support Service   2

Background
The solicitation is for a Combat Ready Staging Program Warehouse Support Service in Japan. The contractor will provide staging services for Government-owned equipment, including tactical, special purpose, support, and administrative wheeled and tracked vehicles; mobile communication platforms; container systems; tactical ground support and Marine Corps Aviation Prepositioning Program (MCAPP) equipment. The performance work statement outlines the objective of the contract to provide staging services for Government-owned equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications, technical publications, and United States Marine Corps (USMC)/III Marine Expeditionary Force (III MEF) administrative storage policies.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, training, management, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to perform Military Equipment (ME) staging services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement. This includes acceptance inspections, periodic inventory, visual inspections, operational checks, exercise/operation of equipment, maintaining inventory logs and equipment records, discrepancy and maintenance requirement reporting, releasing equipment to owning unit. The Contractor shall also move all accepted ME to the location/bay directed by the COR. Additionally, the Contractor shall conduct weekly visual inspections of all inducted ME and monthly operational inspections of all prime-movers.
The period of performance is from July 1st 2018 through June 30th 2019 with options for four additional years.
