Cold Weather All-Terrain Vehicle (CATV) - Solicitation   2

The CATV will be an articulated tracked vehicle capable of amphibious operations, operations under extreme cold weather (ECW -50F) conditions and terrain typically found in Arctic environments and Sling Load transportable. The CATV is considered a modified commercial item under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, as it is a commercially based vehicle with modifications to accommodate military requirements

The proposed solicitation is for a Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)-based follow-on production contract resulting from a successful prototype under the authority of 10 United States Code (U.S.C) Section 2371b. The Government anticipates a single award Firm Fixed Price (FFP), commercial, Requirements contract with five, one-year ordering periods as well as two one-year option ordering periods for a potential total contract term of seven years. The award will consist of production units, Spare Parts, and CLS.
