Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) FY21 CV-22 Installations

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Delivery Order (N0001921F0049) under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-17-G-0002 to the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office to install a quantity of eight (8) Cockpit Voice Recorders (CVRs) on the CV-22. The Delivery Order was awarded to the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office in the amount of $209,234.64.

This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. This effort is covered under the Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) number 17-0092, dated 11 September 2017 redacted version attached to this announcement.
