Description

This project includes site survey, design-bid-build (D-B-B) site adapt design and construction of a concrete masonry unit demonstration building, 150 mm aggregate surfaced access road, and associated site work and grading. The building in its entirety is 11,600 mm x 15,750 mm. Site work includes the following: grading and preparing of surface as indicated by the drawings, grading and compacting the access road as indicated by the drawings. Specifications, drawings, Geotech survey, pictures, and map overlay will be included as attachments. A site visit is not required.
Background
The project involves the construction of a concrete masonry unit (CMU) demonstration building, a 150 mm aggregate surfaced access road, and associated site work and grading. The project is being solicited by the United States of America through the US Army Corps of Engineers. The contract will be awarded through a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Design-Bid-Build (DBB) construction contract, using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection proposal evaluation method.

Work Details
The construction tasks include mobilization and demobilization, design and surveys, construction of the CMU display building, and support facilities. The work must be completed in accordance with the design documents, plans, and specifications provided in the solicitation. The construction contractor is responsible for reviewing and confirming site conditions in the topographic and geotechnical surveys and reports provided. The construction magnitude for the project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed in Lebanon.
