Background
The American Consulate General, Frankfurt provides a Pre-Solicitation Notice for the Chief of Mission Residence Roof Replacement in Gaborone, Botswana. The Regional Procurement Support Office in Frankfurt, Germany, intends to issue a Firm Fixed-Price Construction Type Contract on behalf of the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations and the U.S. Embassy Gaborone, Botswana.

Work Details
The project includes the removal and disposal of existing 'Harvey Tile' roof panels, IBR metal roof sheets and flashings to wood framing, removal, storage and reinstallation of existing hot water solar panel, removal of existing fiberglass insulation, repair/replace existing damaged wood purlins and framing, temporary removal and reinstallation of roof mounted hot water heater, installation of wood plank decking or approved equal, installation of modified bitumen underlayment, installation of new metal roof panels, installation of new flashings at penetrations, curbs, walls, and perimeters, installation of new gutters and downspouts, installation of all new fascia boards, installation of new R-30 Batt insulation in attic space, and painting of all new work.

Place of Performance
The construction work will be performed at the Chief of Mission Residence in Gaborone, Botswana.
