CHIPS- High-Power Tunable IR Quantum Cascade Lasers, Amendment 1

Background
The Department of Commerce is issuing a contract for the provision of high-power tunable mid-infrared quantum cascade lasers (QCLs). The goal of this contract is to acquire advanced laser systems that meet specific technical requirements outlined in the Statement of Requirements. This initiative supports the agency's mission to enhance research capabilities and technological advancements in the field of quantum cascade lasers.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide two separate systems of high-power tunable mid-IR quantum cascade lasers (QCLs). The specific requirements include:
1. Invoice number;
2. Amount of invoice and cumulative amount invoiced to-date;
3. Contract Line Item Number (CLIN);
4. Description, quantity, unit of measure, unit price, and extended price of supplies/services delivered;
5. Prompt payment discount terms, if offered;
6. Any other information or documentation required by the contract.

Additionally, all payment requests must be submitted electronically through the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Invoice Processing Platform System (IPP), and specific documentation requirements are detailed in NIST LOCAL-54.
