Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest - Forest wide Garbage and Recycling Service for Recreation Sites   2

Background
The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest is seeking companies interested in providing garbage and recycling services for recreation sites, mainly campgrounds, within the forest. The intended overall length of service will be up to five years. The next step will be a solicitation posting on SAM, sometime in August or early September, with the intent to start service on November 1st, 2024.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide garbage and recycling containers for a total of 38 sites across all 5 ranger districts on the forest. The garbage containers range from 2 to 8 cubic yards in size, totaling 56 in number, while the recycling containers range from 4 to 8 cubic yards in size, totaling 40 in number. The contractor must provide collection and disposal of solid waste for identified zones and associated sites according to the collection schedule.
Additionally, there is an option to provide collection and disposal of recyclables for identified zones and associated sites according to the collection schedule.

Period of Performance
The intended overall length of service will be up to five years.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at recreation sites (mainly campgrounds) on the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest in Northern Wisconsin.
