Central California Protective Security Officer Services

Background
The Federal Protective Service Acquisitions Division intends to issue a sole source extension of up to four (4) months to the current ordering period of an existing indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract, HSHQW9-17-D-00002, with Triple Canopy, Inc. This extension begins 02/01/2024 and will provide continued armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services at various locations throughout Central California and to allow placement of a new contract to continue critical PSO services at these locations. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Triple Canopy, Inc under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

Work Details
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Procurement Operations (OPO), Federal Protective Service (FPS), Acquisition Division proposes to extend the performance period of Contract HSHQW9-17-D-00002, with Triple Canopy, Inc., for Armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services at various sites throughout Central California on a basis of other than full and open competition. The extension is for four (4) months, from February 1, 2024, through May 31, 2024. This action will result in a modification to extend the ordering period of the current contract to allow placement of a task order to continue critical PSO services throughout Central California.
