A SYNOPSIS OF THE PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION WILL BE POSTED AT A LATER DATE THAT WILL PROVIDE INSTRUCTIONS FOR OFFERORS TO RESPOND TO THIS OPPORTUNITY.

The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) is conducting market research to determine the availability of qualified small business firms capable of providing construction services for floorcovering replacement at select buildings on the Chamblee and Roybal campuses located in Atlanta, Georgia. Requirements include the removal of existing floorcoverings, procurement of new materials, delivery, storage, preparation of surfaces, and installation of new floorcoverings. The work is to be accomplished in occupied spaces and requires specialized experience with the lifting of existing fully assembled furniture and cubicles. Due to a lengthy project duration, a 50-mile radius restriction has been established for eligibility. Therefore, the contractor must have an established office located within 50 miles of either the Chamblee or Roybal campus.

The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 238330 (Flooring Contractors). The current size standard for this NAICS code is $16.5 million average annual receipts for the firm's preceding three fiscal years. The CDC is seeking a qualified small business firm to perform these construction services. Your business size metrics information entered in your SAM.gov registration must be less than or equal to the small business size standard specified above (see provision 52.219-1 in the Representations & Certifications section of your SAM.gov registration).

Interested small business flooring contractors which can fulfill the scope of work as identified and meet the established geographic restriction are requested to respond to this notice by adding their business name to the Interested Vendors List for this posting by the sources sought response due date of March 14, 2023 at 2:00PM. Please add your business name only if you are interested in the requirement as a Prime contractor and are capable and eligible to compete for and perform these services. This notice is intended only for those who would be entering into a Prime contract with the CDC.

Following the review of the interested firms who respond to this notice, a set-aside decision will be made, and a synopsis will be posted at a later date. This future synopsis will include additional information and instructions for responding to this opportunity. Interested contractors are advised to continuously monitor SAM.gov for all future updates.
