Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, has issued a combined synopsis solicitation for the procurement of bulk landscaping materials for the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. The solicitation is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB). The issuing contracting office is the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Work Details
The contractor is responsible for delivering landscape materials at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery free on board (FOB) - Destination. The materials required include sand, topsoil, crushed rock general, crushed limestone, mulch, road base limestone, Texas blend rock, and decomposed granite. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, material, equipment, tools, and supplies to deliver landscape materials to the cemetery in accordance with the statement of work (SOW) and technical specifications contained in the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from the date of award to 365 days plus four one-year options if exercised.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery Maintenance Facility located at 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78209.
