C-130H/J Center Wing Box (CWB)

Background
The Modifications Section of the C-130 System Program Office (SPO), Robins Air Force Base is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to provide the Government with engineering, technical, and logistics support for delivery of CWB replacement kits for C-130H & C-130J aircraft. The current C-130J Center Wing Replacement (CWR) program is supported by Lockheed Martin Aerospace Company, 86 South Cobb Drive Southeast Marietta, GA 30063, CAGE 98897. At this time, the agency is anticipating a Sole-Source Awarded Follow-On Contract under NAICS Code 336411 with an estimated request for proposal (RFP) release in 1st Quarter Fiscal Year 2025 (1QFY25).

Work Details
Interested parties should have a proven support capability, professional knowledge, and experience to provide material and services in support of the following for C-130H/J aircraft configurations and their associated structural components. Offerors must demonstrate the ability to supply new fabricated parts, wire harnesses, and all other miscellaneous parts necessary to successfully install the C-130H/J Enhanced Service Life (ESL) CWB modification kits into the specified aircraft. Engineering efforts will include identifying and correcting obsolete parts and diminishing supplier issues, performing engineering analyses, prototyping, reliability and maintainability improvements, providing engineering data, supporting trial installation and verification installations of the ESL CWB kit on C-130H/J aircraft. Offerors must also be able to provide engineering support to aid in the resolution of kit deficiencies and structural damage that may occur during production and installation of the center wing box.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the follow-on contract is estimated to be from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2035.
