Buckley SFB- PROTESTANT MUSIC DIRECTOR SOURCES SOUGHT

Background
The contract is issued by the Buckley Space Force Base, Colorado, with the goal of providing music services for the Protestant Worship Service. The contractor will support the Lead Protestant Chaplain in fostering a worshipful atmosphere and connection among the congregation through contemporary worship music.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide labor and management to support responsibilities including: playing, singing, practicing, and scheduling music for Protestant worship in collaboration with the Lead Protestant Chaplain. Specific responsibilities include leading contemporary worship services, coordinating with the Protestant Parish Pastor on music selection, conducting rehearsals, managing worship slides, and ensuring all musical equipment is set up and maintained.

The Contractor must also demonstrate skills in music performance, provide a written theology of worship statement, maintain positive relationships with chapel staff and volunteers, operate sound equipment, and ensure compliance with background check requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period that includes regular weekly worship services on Sundays, special services throughout the year (including Christmas Eve and Good Friday), and an estimated total of 114 sessions within a 12-month period.
