Brimstone Software Suite Sustainment   2

Background
The Special Operations Forces/Personnel Recovery & Rotary (AFLCMC/WIU) Division has a requirement for the sustainment and spiral development of the Brimstone Software Suite to maintain interoperability with existing technologies. The Brimstone software is the mission execution software application that assists the pilots and sensor operators in various mission tasks such as sensor management, situational awareness, map and video displays, tactical area navigation, video/audio recording, Cursor on Target (CoT) information, video distribution through datalinks, and Full Motion Video. The contract is a sole source award to ForceX, Inc., CAGE: 3XJB9, under 6.302-1 and 6.303-2(b)(4).

Work Details
The contract will involve the sustainment and spiral development of the Brimstone Software Suite to maintain interoperability with existing technologies. It will include tasks such as sensor management, situational awareness, map and video displays, tactical area navigation, video/audio recording, Cursor on Target (CoT) information, video distribution through datalinks, and Full Motion Video. The delivery schedule will result in the award of a new definitive “C” type contract which will include Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), and Cost Reimbursement No Fee (CRNF) Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINS) with a 12-month basic period plus four 12-month options.

The contract will have a 12-month basic period plus four 12-month options.
