Background
The Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) requires a 1600 cfm blower/motor with variable frequency drive, including installation. The blower system will be used for ventilation and air circulation within the depot's facilities. The contract aims to procure and install the specified equipment to meet the depot's operational needs.

Work Details
The work includes procuring a 1600 cfm blower/motor with specific technical specifications, such as 32 in wg minimum, clockwise rotation, 8” outlet, 11 min bhp, 15 HP, 3600 RPM, TEFC enclosure, and 3 phase, 60 cycle, 230/460 volt motor. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for incorporating a variable frequency drive into the blower system and installing the blower/motor assembly on a concrete pad provided by LEAD. The installation also involves providing and installing ductwork from the exhaust port on the unit requiring ventilation through the outside wall to the blower intake and from the blower exhaust back to the inside of the building. The contractor is also responsible for electrical installation work for the blower/motor and VFD. Furthermore, a minimum one-year warranty is required for all components of the provided equipment.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will include the procurement, delivery, and installation of the blower system as well as meeting all operational provisions. The warranty period begins upon official confirmation by LEAD that the equipment has satisfied all operational provisions of the contract.

Place of Performance
The construction projects under this contract will be performed at Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD), which is located at Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
