Location: Asheville, NC VA Medical Center
Magnitude of Construction IAW FAR 36.204(a): Less than $25,000.
Project Description: The Contractor will provide all transportation, tools and parts, materials, specialized
equipment, labor, supervision, and technical expertise to remove mold in Building 15, Room B006, B006A and hallway
and asbestos containing floor coverings in Building 15, Room B006 and B006A at the Charles George VA Medical Center.
Total Mold Abatement: Approximately 2,500 square feet of mold on floors, walls and ceilings.
Total ACM Abatement: Approximately 1,100 square feet of carpet over suspected ACM floor tile and mastic.
This contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
Award is subject to the availability of funds.
In accordance with established public law, all bidders are required to be registered and current in System for Award

THIS IS A 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS.
IAW FAR 19.505(b)(1)(iv) Small Business concern will not pay more than 75 percent of the amount paid by the
Government for contract performance, excluding the cost of materials, to subcontractors that are not similarly situated
entities.
Pre-Bid Site Visit: Monday, December 11, 2023 @ 2:30PM EST. Location for meeting will be front steps of Bldg 15.
Request for Information (RFI) questions are due Monday, December 18, 2023 @ 10:00AM EST. All questions
shall be emailed to Shirley.Gregory@va.gov - No telephone calls will be accepted. Questions received after the due
date may be considered ineligible.
