Blakeslee Housekeeping

Background
The Blakeslee Housekeeping Services contract is issued by the Blakeslee Air Force Recreation Area (BAFRA), which aims to provide housekeeping services for vacation rental cottages. The incumbent contractor is Coole Cleaners of Wilmington LLC, who has been providing these services for over 10 years.

The goal of this contract is to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across the facilities.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform housekeeping services on an as-needed basis for 36 vacation rental cottages. Services include:
- Cleaning non-carpeted floors using appropriate methods (sweep, dust mop, wet mop) to ensure a uniform appearance;
- Moving furniture to clean underneath;
- Dusting all woodwork, including closets, shelves, furniture, window blinds, and light fixtures;
- Removing trash and cleaning outdoor furniture;
- Sweeping patios and decks;
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

The contractor must provide management, labor, supplies, and storage for cleaning services. All staff must wear company identification shirts.

Period of Performance
From November 1, 2024, to October 31, 2025. Option line items extend from November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2026.
