Background
The Department of the Air Force, specifically the United States Space Force, is issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) under solicitation number FA251725Q0020 for landscape maintenance services at SPoC HQ Building 1, located at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the health and aesthetic quality of approximately 341 plants and 20 trees within the building, supporting the mission of maintaining a conducive environment for operations.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, and transportation necessary to conduct weekly inspections and maintenance of all live foliage/plants in SPoC HQ Bldg 1. The specific tasks include:
- Checking for proper moisture levels in plants.
- Cleaning and trimming plants as needed.
- Removing debris, dead leaves, and trash from soil and floor areas after maintenance.
- Adding soil/mulch to maintain healthy plants.
- Rotating plants to ensure they receive adequate light.
- Providing appropriate levels of plant nutrients.
- Inspecting and treating for disease or insect infestations in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Using portable water tanks or alternative methods for watering due to safety concerns; water hoses are prohibited.
- Replacing any expired or diseased plants or those deemed unhealthy by the contractor or Facility Manager with approved replacements of the same type or equal quality.
- Ensuring all work complies with applicable commercial and US military standards/specifications as well as federal, state, and local laws.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period starting from February 4, 2025, to February 3, 2026, with four option years extending through February 3, 2030. There is also a potential six-month extension available.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Peterson Space Force Base (SFB), Colorado.
