Base Telecommunication Service Bridge

Background
The requirement is to provide base telecommunication service bridge for Dyess Air Force Base (AFB) in Abilene, Texas. The contract is being issued as a Sole Source requirement to EPS Corporation. The agency's mission is to ensure effective communication services at the base, which is critical for operational readiness and support.

Work Details
The contractor will perform various tasks related to the Base Telecommunications Service (BTS) Operation and Maintenance Services, including:
1. Monthly maintenance of the Base Telecommunication Service System.
2. Specialized telephone server patching on a monthly basis.
3. Locating and marking cables for maintenance purposes monthly.
4. Handling routine work orders related to the Base Telecommunication Service monthly.
5. Managing special project work orders as needed monthly.
6. Transitioning the BTS system contract at the end of the performance period.

Additionally, the contractor must ensure continuity of services during crises, report accidents/incidents, manage base civil engineering work clearance requests, maintain access to Base LAN, and adhere to qualifications and staffing requirements as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Operations and Maintenance (O&M) requirements include managing telephone switch systems, performing preventive maintenance inspections (PMIs), handling system outages and trouble calls/tickets, and ensuring contractor availability.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from April 1, 2025, to June 30, 2025.
