BARDA Advance Scientific SME Professional Staffing Support Services

This solicitation is a follow-on to the pre-solicitation notice issued under RFI RFQ 1559756. The objective of this requirement is to establish a firm, fixed price, labor hour - type, Task Order award subject to a GSA Multiple Award Schedule for the recruitment and retention of Advance Professional Scientific Subject Matter Expertise (SMEs) Staffing Support Services in research and development (R&D) and advanced research and development (AR&D) of biotechnology and biopharmaceuticals to support the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) within the office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) located in Washington, D.C. These services provide critical scientific expertise in support of BARDA's mission to conduct R&D and AR&D efforts to provide medical countermeasures that address the public health medical consequences of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) events, pandemic influenza, and emerging infectious diseases.
