B-21 Low-Observable Restoration Facility (LO Hangar), Ellsworth AFB, SD   4

Background
The solicitation is for the construction of a Low-Observable Restoration Facility at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. The project will be executed using a design-bid-build (DBB) project delivery method, with an estimated magnitude of the base scope between $70M and $100M. The facility will include two segregated aircraft positions, back shop, unique climatically controlled material storage, administrative and facility support spaces. The project will comply with DoD antiterrorism/force protection requirements and will be in accordance with RFP documents issued within this solicitation.

Work Details
The construction tasks include providing a complete facility and warranty based on the Request for Proposal (RFP). The facilities will be designed as permanent construction according to DoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 1-200-01 and UFC 1-200-02. The project will utilize local materials and construction techniques where cost-effective and comply with applicable DoD, Air Force, and base design standards.
