The requirement is principally located in the Washington metropolitan area with the majority occurring at FDA headquarters at its White Oak campus in Silver Spring, Maryland. The consolidation of over 11,000 FDA personnel to the White Oak campus has allowed the Agency to gain the benefit of accessing meeting rooms on a shared use basis among the various component organizations located there such as the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH), the Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) and the Office of Operations.
