Atmosphere Observing System-Polar (AOS-P) Polarimeter Instrument Phase A Study   3

Background
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) is inviting proposals in response to the AOS Polarimeter Instrument Phase A Study solicitation. The principal purpose of this new procurement is to provide insight into potential instrument concepts that will support AOS-P mission implementation, with particular attention to performance capability, developmental maturity, and developmental risk of the AOS Polarimeter Instrument. NASA will conduct this acquisition as a full and open competition.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to deliver and/or perform services and deliverables in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). The tasks include services and deliverables in accordance with Attachment A, SOW, a kick-off meeting, weekly informal status meetings, check points 1 and 2, concept study report packages – draft and final, risk reduction and demonstration reports – informal and formal status reports 1-4 and final, reporting of inventions, IT security management plan, monthly progress reports, final report, submission of reports to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), packaging and marking requirements.

Period of Performance
The period of performance of this contract shall be for a period of 15 months from the contract effective date.

Place of Performance
The services under this contract shall be performed at the Contractor’s facility.
