Atmosphere Observing System-Polar (AOS-P) Polarimeter Instrument Phase A Study   3

NASA has awarded the Atmosphere Observing System - Polar (AOS-P) Polarimeter A Study to the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), Maryland. The contract action was awarded competitively. This is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract that includes a one (1) 15-month base period with no options. The period of performance began September 15, 2023. The work will be performed at the contractor's facility in Baltimore, Maryland. Under this new contract, UMBC will provide insight into potential instrument concepts that will support AOS-P mission implementation, with particular attention to performance capability, developmental maturity, and developmental risk of the AOS Polarimeter Instrument.
