Background
The Maryland Army National Guard, specifically the 70th Regional Training Institute (RTI), has a requirement for a non-personal services contract to provide an Army writing course emphasizing Army Regulation (AR) 25-50.

This course aims to train junior Army Officers on effective writing skills necessary for producing coherent and efficient communications. The training is intended to certify up to 30 junior officers in the clinical and technical skills required for effective memorandums and correspondence.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform the Army Writing Course as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Specific tasks include:
- Coordinating with the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) regarding course conduct;
- Updating and delivering the course syllabus;
- Reviewing and updating lecture materials;
- Delivering course content during class sessions;
- Incorporating homework problems and solutions;
- Regularly monitoring student progress through evaluations;
- Facilitating a final comprehensive examination;
- Assessing and grading all quizzes, exams, and assignments in a timely manner;
- Submitting final grade recommendations to the TPOC at the end of the academic quarter.

The contractor must ensure that all course materials are relevant and of graduate academic level quality.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is for a 2-day class scheduled on April 2nd and 3rd, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the 70th RTI located at Aberdeen Proving Grounds Edgewood Area, Building 4208, Gunpowder MD 21010.
