Army - KOFAX Installation - MRAS

The U.S. Army, through the General Services Administration (GSA), is conducting market research to identify potential contractors capable of providing essential support services for Kofax TotalAgility (KTA) software and related components. This initiative is part of the Army Human Resources Command's (HRC) efforts to implement Department of Defense mandates that support soldiers throughout their careers. The primary goal is to enhance the HRC's capabilities in managing personnel evaluations, promotions, and selections by leveraging Kofax's advanced document classification and extraction technology.

The scope of work involves a comprehensive suite of services required for the successful deployment and operation of Kofax TotalAgility software. Key tasks include migrating from the existing Kofax Transformation Modules (KTM) to KTA, configuring export connectors essential for seamless data communication with dependent applications, and developing document processing solutions across various environments such as NIPR, MSEE, and SIPR. Additionally, contractors are expected to provide installation and configuration services for the Kofax Import Connector (KIC), ensuring that all current documents in use within KTM are developed for compatibility with the new KTA environment.

Given the expiration of previous vendor support and compliance requirements necessitating software upgrades, this contract seeks external expertise to address these challenges effectively. Contractors will assist in maintaining adherence to stringent security standards while ensuring a smooth transition from KTM to KTA. Moreover, there is an emphasis on knowledge transfer; selected vendors will be responsible for training HRC personnel in developing new forms processing systems tailored for academic records scanning within secure environments.
