Army Applied Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program Broad Agency Announcement (BAA)

The future Army must be capable of conducting Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) as part of an integrated Joint Force across an array of scenarios in multiple theaters by 2035. The MDO concept describes how the Army will support the Joint Force in the rapid and continuous integration of all domains of warfare land, sea, air, space, and cyberspace to deter and prevail as we compete short of conflict, and fight and win if deterrence fail. The Army must provide game-changing capabilities to our Soldiers, leveraging the tools to operate at the pace of innovation. In order to capitalize on small business innovation, the Army has implemented a new approach to advertise SBIR funding opportunities on an ad hoc basis, outside of the three pre-determined announcements issued at the DoD level. SBIR Opportunities will be announced under this BAA. Only proposals submitted in response to an active corresponding Opportunity will be evaluated for funding.
