Description

The U.S. Embassy in Mexico City has a requirement for Armored Car Services to provide cash transportation to Mission Mexico's 9 consulates and 9 consular agencies. to include furnishing all labor, insurances, material, vehicles, equipment, and services.

The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with a one-year option period, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.

The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.

The Government is planning a Pre-Proposal Conference and the date for this visit will be in the solicitation.

All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting a quotation pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.

Background

The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with a one-year option period, if exercised by the Government. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.

Work Details
The purpose of this Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract is to acquire armored services for all U.S. Consulates and U.S. Consular Agencies in Mexico country, as described in this work statement. The contract will be for a one-year base period from the date of the contract award, with a one-year option to renew (period between February 1, 2024, to January 31, 2026) and individual Task Orders shall be issued for specified services at the contract rates.

The Contractor shall provide the service for the base period of the contract and any option years exercised by the U.S. Government at the rates shown in paragraph 3. Per Service Pricing under Section 1.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for a one-year base period from the date of the contract award, with a one-year option to renew (period between February 1, 2024, to January 31, 2026).

Place of Performance
The geographic location(s) where the armored services will be provided include Ciudad Juarez, Guadalajara, Hermosillo, Matamoros, Merida, Monterrey, Nogales, Nuevo Laredo, Tijuana, Acapulco, Cancun, Los Cabos, Mazatlan, Oaxaca, Piedras Negras, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Vallarta and San Miguel de Allende.
