The industry day was conducted 12 July. A recording is available in the links below, please use the password provided to access. Note that the password must be manually typed in for many web browsers - copy/paste will not work. This link will expire, approximately, by 9 September 2023. File size limitations prohibit sharing of the recording directly on SAM.gov. Ensure you download a copy before the link expires.

NSF will endeveaor to release answers to questions received by the end of the week of 17 July 2023.

Original Industry Day Notice

This Special Notice is to provide awareness and opportunity to attend an NSF-hosted Industry Day for the Antarctic Research Vessel (ARV) Integrator requirement.

The initial release of this notice only serves in a "Save-the-Date" capacity. The industry day will occur, remotely via Zoom.gov, on 12 July 2023, from 12:00pm to 3:00pm EDT.

This Special Notice shall be updated with additional information and guidance prior to the industry day.

• NSF intends, but cannot guarantee, the release of a draft Request For Proposal (RFP) prior to the industry day.
• A "Registration Link" is provided below. Please complete the brief questionnaire to receive an invite via email to the Zoom.gov meeting. Please check spam inboxes for the invite once registration is complete.
• This notice will be updated in advance with NSF's agenda for covered topics for the industry day.
• In the pursuit of fairness to all interested parties, live questions will not be answered during the industry day. Questions may be submitted before, during, and after the event, with responses to questions that NSF answers made publicly available on Sam.gov. Questions must be in writing to the below email address.
  • At present, there are no cut-off dates for receipt of questions. This notice will be updated to identify dates when applicable.
  • NSF does not intend to provide 1-on-1 sessions with interested parties.

Update 8/10/2023: An additional series of questions and answers has been added as an attachment. A list of interested parties has been added as an attachment - these are individuals who registered for the industry day and consented to have their information made available. This list includes names, organization, email, and area of interest. Phone numbers are not included.

Update 8/7/2023: Archival date of this announcement was moved to 1 September 2023.
