Anatomic Pathology Laboratory Information System (APLIS)

Background
The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), representing the Program Executive Office, Defense Healthcare Management Systems (PEO DHMS), is seeking to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to Oracle-Cerner for Anatomic Pathology Laboratory Information System (APLIS) Integration Services.

This acquisition is intended to support the operational needs of Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) by ensuring the integration and maintenance of APLIS, a commercial product used for advanced data management in pathological laboratories.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the installation and sustainment of all test, training, and production environments of APLIS at MTFs. Key tasks include:
- Customer support and maintenance of systems and infrastructure at Military Health System (MHS) Application Access Gateway (MAAG) sites.
- Quality assurance initiatives to ensure optimal performance of APLIS.
- Change and configuration management of APLIS to ensure continuous support.
- Configuration, implementation, and maintenance of new versions of APLIS as they are released.
- Management of Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) on APLIS production, training, and testing servers.
- Tracking updates, responses, and security incidents throughout the contract period.
- Ensuring compliance with Department of Defense standards during upgrades and system modifications.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period of one year following the date of award, with an option for an additional ten-month period.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs).
