An/SLQ-32(V)6 Antenna Shelter Refurbishments   2

Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division is issuing this solicitation for the refurbishment and upgrade of the AN/SLQ-32(V)6 Antenna Shelters. The SEWIP Block II program provides anti-ship missile defense capabilities to the U.S. Navy fleet, and the AN/SLQ-32(V)6 electromagnetic warfare suite is designed to replace and enhance legacy systems.

Due to corrosion from the marine environment, periodic refurbishment of these shelters is essential to maintain their operational capabilities and protect sensitive internal electronics.

Work Details
The contractor will perform complete disassembly of the AN/SLQ-32(V)6 shelter enclosures, utilizing blast media to remove old paint, coatings, and corrosion. They will reapply chromate chemical conversion, primer, and paint, followed by reassembly with new gaskets and hardware. The contractor must handle large material components and perform threaded insert repairs as needed.

Specific tasks include:
1. Refurbishment of Shelter Sets per SOW paragraph 3.1.1 (Tier #1).
2. Refurbishment of Shelter Sets per SOW paragraph 3.1.2 (Tier #2).
3. Refurbishment of Shelter Sets per SOW paragraph 3.1.3 (Tier #3).
4. Compliance with various military standards for surface preparation, coating application, and packaging of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period that aligns with the contract award date and may extend for multiple years as specified in individual task orders.

Place of Performance
The work will be conducted at the contractor's facility capable of handling large materials and performing specialized refurbishment tasks.
