Amendment 1- FBI RFI for Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Capabilities in Secure Federal Facilities

Background
The United States Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Information Technology Infrastructure Division (ITID), headquartered in Washington, DC is requesting information to solicit an RFID full-service contract in support of the Huntsville Redstone Arsenal North and South Campuses. The FBI’s ITID, Information Technology Construction Advisory Office (ITCAO) is responsible for providing IT construction advisory services to include turnkey solutions for all initiatives at the FBI’s Huntsville Redstone Arsenal current and future facilities. The facilities are a mix of security levels from Unclassified space to the level of Top Secret, Secure Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs).

Work Details
The objective of the RFI is to obtain a state-of-the-art platform solution, to include software and hardware which meets all FBI requirements and specifications for operation of RFID in multiple classification environments, multiple physical environments, for a number of anticipated and unanticipated use cases. The offered solution must replace all current tracking systems integrate seamlessly with existing FBI systems in use for procurement and inventory purposes and potentially be used in multiple FBI locations.
The RFI outlines specific requirements for the platform solution and support desired to be employed to handle the known use cases and capable of functioning in multiple classifications, replacing existing software tracking packages, meeting all FBI requirements, security and policy, and integrating seamlessly with existing FBI procurement and inventory systems.

The responses to this RFI are required no later than 11:00 am CDT, Friday, March 08, 2024.
