Amendment 001 - The purpose of this amendment is to post answers to RFI's and sign/in sheet from site visit held on April 13, 2022.

Dear Contractors:

The General Services Administration (GSA) is requesting you to submit a proposal to modernize the elevators in the Texarkana Post Office and US Courthouse, located at Texarkana Post Office & US Courthouse, 500 State Line Road, Texarkana, TX 71854, IAW the scope of work (SOW) dated 12/13/2021.

Please see attached Statement of Work dated 12/13/2021 for complete requirements concerning this project.

The contract shall be completed within five-hundred and fifty-five (550) calendar days after issuance of notice to proceed.

Majority of the construction will be performed during working hours 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Liquidated Damages: $250.00 per day

Magnitude of the project will between $1,000,000 and 5,000,000.

Davis Bacon Wages Determination, General Decision Number: TX20220232 dated 02/25/2022, Bowie County in Texas will be incorporated and made a part of any resultant contract.

Your proposal must include a breakdown of your pricing IAW the provided Bid Schedule/Proposal Form. Please submit one with your proposal via electronically.

Your proposal must contain a complete itemized breakdown in sufficient detail to permit an analysis of all material, labor, equipment, subcontract, overhead costs, and profit as required by FAR 52.236-28, Preparation of Proposals- Construction.

Your proposal will be reviewed by the following Evaluation Factors:

2. Experience
3. Schedule
4. Past Performance
5. Preventive Maintenance Approach

Offer acceptance must give 120 calendar days guarantee. A single award will be made from this request for proposal.

A Pre-solicitation/site visit will be held on April 13, 2022 @ 1:30 p.m. at the Texarkana Post Office and US Courthouse, located at 500 State Line Road, Texarkana, TX 71854.
